The Veterans To Work (V2W) Program is a comprehensive initiative established by Georgia Vocational Solutions (GVS) to address the unique needs and challenges faced by military veterans as they transition into civilian life. The Veterans To Work (V2W) Program comprises several key components that work together to provide holistic support for veterans during their transition into the civilian workforce.

• Individualized Career Planning Every veteran participating in the V2W Program undergoes a comprehensive assessment to identify their unique skills, interests, and career goals. This information is used to create a personalized career plan that outlines the steps required to achieve their employment objectives.
• Vocational Training and Skill Development GVS offers a range of vocational training and skill development programs tailored to veterans’ needs and aspirations. These programs include job readiness workshops, resume building, interview preparation, and on-the-job training opportunities to enhance veterans’ employability.
• Employment Placement Services Our dedicated employment placement team works closely with veterans to identify suitable job opportunities in the civilian workforce. GVS has established partnerships with a network of veteran-friendly employers committed to hiring and supporting veterans throughout their careers.
• Ongoing Support and Mentorship Veterans enrolled in the V2W Program receive continuous support and mentorship to ensure their long-term success in the workforce. GVS provides guidance on workplace etiquette, conflict resolution, and career advancement, as well as access to counseling services when needed.
