The “Dream Beyond Incarceration Initiative and Scholarship Fund” is a pioneering program launched by Georgia Vocational Solutions (GVS) with a vision to provide a second chance and support the dreams of individuals who have been impacted by the criminal justice system. Rooted in GVS’s core values of Empowerment, Employment, and Excellence, this initiative is designed to break down barriers to success, empower individuals with past involvement in the criminal justice system, and offer them opportunities for personal growth, education, and meaningful employment.

The Dream Beyond Incarceration Initiative and Scholarship Fund consists of several vital components designed to support participants on their journey towards a brighter future.

• Scholarships for Education GVS offers scholarships that cover tuition, books, and materials for eligible individuals to pursue its very own vocational training, certificate programs, or college degrees. The scholarships are available for a range of fields, ensuring that participants can pursue their passions and interests.
• Vocational Training and Skill Development Participants receive vocational training and skill development programs that equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their chosen fields. This includes job readiness workshops, resume building, interview preparation, and mentorship.
• Employment Placement Services GVS collaborates with employers who are committed to providing job opportunities to program participants. Employment placement services help individuals secure meaningful work, providing financial stability and a sense of purpose.
